Speaker Bio

Albert Tres Vilanova works in API Operations on the API Platform team at Perplexity AI, where he helps developers build with Perplexity's Agent and Search APIs — spanning developer documentation, engaging directly with the developer community, and gathering feedback to improve onboarding and developer experience. He focuses on turning real-world API usage into clearer docs, better guides, and a smoother path from first request to production.

Before Perplexity, Albert earned a Master's in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and developed market surveillance algorithms for the Canadian Securities Administrators.
