Clients and law firms often share enthusiasm about AI and innovation. However, their enthusiasm can also pull in different directions. Drawing on the speaker's experience both in-house and at law firms, this talk explores how, why, and what that means for those looking to change the shape of legal work.

Speaker Bio

Jonathan Hew is the innovation lawyer for Linklaters’ global Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice. Based in London, he works across the practice and the wider firm to promote effectiveness and efficiency through innovation. He also has a special interest in technology law and policy. He previously worked as an in-house counsel and a policymaker at Meta, as a disputes lawyer at Latham & Watkins and Hogan Lovells, and as a refugee lawyer at Asylum Access.
